I build the systems behind decisions -- in research, in products, in this garden.
I lead UX research at Current, after building it at Cash App. In parallel I run Seka Works LLC, a digital and physical product design practice. The arc has been product-shaped from the start: industrial design at the University of Houston, footwear at Pensole, hospital research at HKS, then consumer fintech at Cash App.
I live in Brooklyn with my wife Jade and two cats, Brooklyn and Tomato.
What I do
Research, in fintech, with a foot toward AI and enterprise. I lead UX research at Current and intend to do the same work, at higher stakes, inside an AI or enterprise software org next.

How I work
Evidence-matrix thinker. Before I ran the 16-week diary study on Cash App's Network P2P question, I sat with the evidence-method matrix until I could defend why diary was the right tool. The study found four archetypes that overturned two of three stakeholder assumptions. GPV quadrupled year over year. The matrix didn't make me right. It made me legible.
Pattern recognition. Patron, Delegator, Harmonizer, Shopper. The names came from the data, not from a workshop. Delegators -- people paying landlords, sitters, contractors -- were not social senders, but they were among the most valuable customers we had. Naming the pattern is half the work. The other half is making sure it survives translation to a roadmap.
Frameworks that outlast the project. I built Cash App's rolling research program 0-to-1: three-week cadence, two-part deliverable, 25% workload reduction for the team. Five years on, I am scaling the same shape into Current's DYOR program -- 70+ self-serve studies across two orgs. The specifics change. The shape holds.
Application-first learner. I learn by building something I actually want. Python by way of fantasy football. Trading by way of betbots. The scaffolding has to be intrinsically interesting or I will quit on it.
Cash App is where I built this practice. Current is where I keep building it.
